Instinctive blender

New Instinctive blender was released. It is just personal version of Alexander Evering. It includes many cool features (Boat effect, Layer Manager, etc.). This blender is available as source code or linux binary package.

Jahshaka 1.9a9

New version of Jahshaka was released yesterday. Jahshaka is realtime non-liner video editor available for Windows, Linux and Mac. New version has lot of new functionality, but it is still "little bit" unstable :-(.

Blenderpedia

Blender already has its own wiki. It is for development stuff, placing some proposals of further work, etc. Purpose of this wiki is little bit different. You can find some documentation and anybody can contribute at creation of this documentation.

CMI sells learning videos for OpenSource modelling app wings3d. Blender foundation will sell some learning videos in the future (2005) too.

Blender conference in Prag 2004

Blender conference in Prag was little bit GameEngine oriented ;-). I think, that it was still fine. I had some presentation about communication comunity with developers (bug tracking, sending proposals, etc.) I got special request to send my presentation slides (50KB pdf) at my wblog. I'm looking forward at Blender conference in Prag 2005 ;-).

ELSA Gloria-XL

I got this beast today (one 2D GPU and 3 GPUs for 3d, 16MB RAM, "pure OpenGL" card, no evil Direct3D). This gift includes 3d glasses too. It should work with glint driver ... full 3d hardware acceleration. It's PCI card ... so I can have my ATI Radeon 9600 XT in my computer too.
